So I took the weekend off...again...but I got back to it yesterday, cranking out 4.5 miles. It felt great, and I'm glad I didn't try to overwork myself and do more. I felt like I could, but I only have a few days left in January to finish my Miles Challenge, and I've got 14 more miles to go. I'm going to try and get in at least 4 more tonight, maybe more depending on how I feel. I'm trying to get it done, though, because I doubt I'll get much in this weekend considering I'm going to be out of town. The good thing is that my hotel has a gym in it, so if I'm still not to my 60 mile mark, I can fit in a few miles there.
Oh, by the way, I did a 5k in 29:37...personal best for me!
Tomorrow following my weekly weigh-in, I'm going to be posting my weekly goals. I've been trying to do this on Mondays, but I think I'll switch to Wednesday so I can be in line with my weigh-in and adjust my goals to fit it.
